Sonu, from Bihar, moved to Bengaluru with his family facing very hard times. They
were extremely poor, often hungry, and lived in a simple shelter. One day, Sonu,
feeling very hungry, picked up and ate a discarded banana peel from the street.
Soumya, a sixth-grade student at St. Joseph School in Bidar, faces challenging circumstances with the
untimely demise of her father, Bhimanna. Taking on the responsibility, her mother Sujatha, a daily
wager, struggles to support the family.
During the COVID-19 crisis, widespread hunger and scarcity of essentials
